ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST
Summary You will serve as an Administrative Technical Specialist in the NAVSURFWARCEN PORT HUENEME DIVISION, DIGITAL ENGINEERING DEPT D20 of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. Responsibilities You will serve as the Division Supportability Integrator (SI) responsible for overseeing all Division Product Support activities and ensure the technical quality of the division's logistics products and processes. You will assist the Product Support Branch Manager in determining which positions require formal Qualifications or Certifications to satisfy program requirements and provide input to their Individual Development Plan and performance assessments. You will be responsible for ensuring health and sustainability of assigned weapon systems consider supportability in system designs and the elements necessary for suitable and cost-effective operation. You will work with the Division Lead Engineer to develop and monitor supportability and engineering processes across the Division. You will prepare technical papers and/or lead investigations to address deficiencies in supportability areas, develop metrics for department programs. You will serve as a member of selected internal/external agency assessments and command-level working group. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least ne year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Evaluating readiness and supportability requirements to manage and guide Product Support Integration activities of shipboard weapon systems, warfare systems and programs. The NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14. Additional vacancies may be filled by this announcement.
