Summary This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14. You will serve as the Data Center Manager in the Data Center (Code 15) of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV NEWPORT RI. Responsibilities You will serve as an inventory manager, leading daily inventory tasks in the Code 15 Media Center. You will check in and check out requests, cataloging new media requests, generating reports, conducting inventory, processing transmittal requests, and processing disposal requests. You will utilize the Base Inventory Tracking System (BITS) and will be responsible for the filing and maintenance of all material tracked by the Code 15 Media Center to ensure an accurate inventory at all times. You will conduct project planning, budget development, schedules, technical tracking and reporting, and financial tracking and reporting. You will perform research to determine funding documentation requirements. You will run inventory and transaction reports, troubleshoot/resolve transactions problems within Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). You will maintain facility safety and security compliance. You will report to Department Leadership any new processes involving the media center items and develop new procedures accordingly. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-4 (GS-11/12 equivalency) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing leadership and guidance in tracking/running inventory, resolving problems and providing reporting and recommendations for inventory management systems. Education Additional Information NT-5 position: The salary range shown in the announcement represents all of the positions within the band, including GS-14 equivalent (high grade) positions. This is not a high-grade position: therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $155,164). This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
