ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST
Summary You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the DIGITAL ENGINEERING DEPT D00 of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. Responsibilities You will function as a Logistician for the Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements in support of various programs at Naval Surface Warfare Center Port Hueneme Office. You will prepare, coordinate and integrate the identification, development, acquisition and delivery of logistics requirements/resources for assigned programs. You will assist in development of supporting data and provides comprehensive logistics planning information, logistics plans, recommendations, alternatives, impact statements and letters of certification to program/project office. You will conduct verifications and certifications to provide that adequate parts and documentation are, in fact, available at the right time and place. You will coordinate in support of fleet personnel and supporting activities efforts. You will prepare analytical evaluations and/or reviews on proposed or existing technical documentation or assigned equipment. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band NT-03 (GS-09/10 equivalency) or grade level in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector Performing logistics management operations that involve planning, analysis, or evaluating the logistical acquisitions required to support a specified mission, weapons system, or other designated program. The following education may be substituted for specialized experience at the NT-04: A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree. OR Three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree. OR An LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled. OR A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. Education Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-04 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-11 and GS-12. Certain incentives (such as Recruitment, Relocation or Student Loan Repayment) may be authorized to eligible selectees.
