Summary You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the NAVSEA ERP Business Office (10X), Operations and Business Process Branch (10X1) of NAVSURFWARCEN IH DIV. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14. Responsibilities You will serve as a Senior Financial Associate as part of the Financial Branch in the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Business Office (NEBO). You will be performing system-related functions of financial management such as Budgetary Ledger, Accounts Payables/Receivables, Funds Allocation/Management, Period End/Year End Close, associated Financial Interfaces and Financial Reporting. You will provide support as the liaison for the NAVSEA Enterprise and financial point of contact to the Navy ERP Program Office organizations. You will be responsible for interpreting financial policies and procedures and making business process recommendations for effective operations within the Navy ERP as well as with external interfaces. You will be responsible for trouble ticket management and resolution; interpreting and communicating system changes/upgrades; performing data analysis and clean-up; participating in system testing; writing/reviewing/providing system feedback. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower band, NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: utilizing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to analyze financial data, reports, or system functionality for problem resolution and ensuring business operations are in compliance with financial laws and regulations.
