General Summary

Govern the contract life cycle to ensure contracts are efficiently managed and accounted for in accordance with company policies. Monitor and audit vendor performance, payment accuracy and contract adherence while serving as a financial liaison and vendor relations specialist. The Contract Administrator manages the term and termination of contracts, analyzes legal data, prepares reports and makes recommendations. This position develops the audit standards process for the Company’s Procurement organization, including the maintenance of contract files and the contract preparation process

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

Abstract and manage all company contracts, including procurement Agreements, NDA’s, Settlement Agreements, etc.Collaborate with internal stakeholders on contract renewals and terminations and prepare and manage Amendments, Notice of Termination, etc.Audit current contracts for completeness and work on executing changes as neededDevelop contract template language and requirementsVerify payments are made in accordance with current contracts and secure SLA credits where applicableManage contract life cycle process. Interpret contract terms such as drafting correspondence to vendors as determined in conjunction with Contract Manger and LegalMaximize company value by effectively auditing vendor´s performance on pricing and obligationsOwner and subject matter expert of the contract databaseDevelop and distribute required reports to monitor and ensure compliance with contract provisions and timelines for contract rights, duties, and renewalsPrepare accurate and detailed schedule of contract commitment for preparation of budget and annual auditsSupport management dailyAdditional responsibilities and duties as assigned Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; three (3) years’ experience in contract negotiations, contract administration, and legal and financial aspects of procurement, Basic understanding of the telecommunications industryExcellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skillsProficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other job related softwareUnderstand business implications of decisions; display orientation to profitability; demonstrate knowledge of market and competition; align work with strategic goalsCustomer service oriented with passion for high customer satisfaction and achieving operational excellence; ability to interact with all levels of staff including senior managementMust be able to demonstrate attention to accuracy on all duties and responsibilitiesAbility to analyze and define problems, prioritize work flow, multitask, meet deadlines and remain flexible Working ConditionsEmployee remains in the sitting position for prolonged hours. Employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.Working conditions may include being in an open (shared) cubicle/workspace area.
