No Duties and Responsibilities Modifies and maintains comprehensive admissions record files within AMP, using as guidelines, complex rules, policies, and regulations of the admissions department. Responds to inquiries and resolves problems related to the admissions system, which may require the interpretation, explanation, and justification of departmental policies and procedures. Reviews processing procedures involving Primary and Secondary applications, forms and/or correspondence while making suggestions for any needed changes; creates new forms or correspondence as needed. Assists with research requested by EAC, faculty, staff and students, utilizing statistical enrollment data. Assembles and disseminates admissions process and payment reports to stakeholders; works with the dean of admissions to design and maintain reports. Assists in procurement, requisition, and payments for vendors and paid reviewers. Assists with the transcript review process. Reviews admission files for completeness so that admission decisions can be made. Previews completed files and make and enter admission decisions. Transmits actions to AMCAS and assists in reporting details to AMCAS. Counsels and recruits prospective students (Both over the phone, email correspondence, and Walk-in) Consults and informs prospective students of their admission status. Supports office in all matters of daily operations. Minimum Education and/or Work Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field and three years of experience in roles related to educational technology or systems administration; equivalent admissions experience may be considered. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field and three years of experience in roles related to educational technology or systems administration; equivalent admissions experience may be considered. Experience working with database systems or various other technologies. Experience managing or supporting technical projects. Experience with data integration and any relevant or related tools. Ability to speak/read the English language and understand basic medical terminology; Spanish language bilingualism is a plus. Proficient ability to construct, maintain and disseminate data reports and correspondence. Strong attention to detail. Ability to follow instructions and ask questions when unclear on what to do. Work effectively as a team member. Work steadily and efficiently to complete tasks in a timely manner. Ability to read, interpret, and maintain confidentiality with admissions documents, system operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
