Expected to open in 2024, this 60-bed, 66,000-square-foot, two-story, inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital operating jointly with Lifepoint Rehabilitation and Mercy Health, is more than a job. What you will do in this role:
Leads the admissions office process in IRF sitesMaintains up-to-date statistical data in computer information system within established time framesEnsures completion of all referral documentation and maintains filing systemsMaintains, posts, and distributes an accurate census and referral information to administration hospital staff on a daily basisMaintains systems and processes for timely data-entry of pre-admit, admission, and registration of information for inpatients and outpatientsEnsures patients have a good understanding of their insurance benefits and answers questions as neededOther duties as assignedQualificationsHigh School Diploma required.Some college preferredMinimum of 2 years of experience in Admitting and/or medical insurance preferredExperience in handling patient admissions preferredExtensive knowledge of insurance and their benefits and admitting formsProficiency in recording admission reservationsBasic computer knowledge including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
