Admissions Counselor
**Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** **Description:** The purpose of this position is to coordinate student recruitment and admission activities for applicants. The position will serve as a resource, providing information on College programs to interested applicants. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS** **:** + Organizes, plans, and executes strategic enrollment management plans with program chairs and academic leadership. Builds target budget to grow applications and enrollments. + Researches, determines, plans, implements and conducts on and off-campus recruitment with high schools, colleges, and healthcare facilities within assigned territory. + Counsels prospective students and applicants regarding College admissions’ policies and procedures, program admission requirements and procedures, and prerequisite course requirements and equivalences. + Collaborates with academic advisors to ensure student success from inquiry to graduation + Identifies and evaluates opportunities for program expansion through regional and national partnerships. . Supports the Financial Aid Office by providing information about options and resources for funding. + Identifies areas for continuous improvement to curriculum, admissions standards, transferability of credit, process improvement, and pricing structure. Provides recommendations and enhancements to management. + Performs other duties as assigned. MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: + Bachelor’s degree in education or related field. + Valid and current Iowa driver’s license. + Ability to work weekends and evenings. + Ability to travel overnight. + Strong interpersonal, oral, written and presentation communication skills. + Excellent attention to detail. + Two years’ experience in admissions and/or a higher education environment preferred. **Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion** Trinity Health is one of the largest not-for-profit, Catholic healthcare systems in the nation.
