The Western Kentucky University Office of Admissions is accepting applications for an Admissions Counselor position. The Admissions Office seeks to grow WKU's student population through the recruitment and admission of a diverse, academically-distinguished and engaged student body. This full-time position reports to the Assistant Director of Admissions and operates as a recruiter, ambassador, event planner and liaison between the university and school counselors, teachers, prospective students,
parents and other constituents within an assigned recruitment territory. The Admissions Counselor represents WKU at multiple events including high school sessions, college fairs, on-campus recruitment events and orientation programs. The candidate selected will be expected to live in or be willing to relocate to the Lexington, KY area.
Job Requirements:
+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
+ Valid driver's license
+ Public speaking experience and excellent presentation skills
+ Willingness to frequently travel, work evenings and weekends
Additional Information:
Salary Range: $38,000 - $43,000
