Job Description:

The University of Florida is seeking a motivated individual to join our Recruitment & Outreach team as an Admissions Officer I for UF Online Enrollment Services. This position plays a vital role in recruiting and enrolling prospective students for UF Online programs. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and committed to facilitating a smooth and positive enrollment experience.

Key responsibilities include:

Student Outreach

Conduct outreach to prospective UF Online students through phone calls (inbound/outbound call center), emails, text, and other communication channels. Effectively oversee the prospective student pipeline to optimize enrollment outcomes Ensure compliance with university-wide policies, legislative statutes, and state regulations related to enrollment issues. Record all student communication in the CRM system for documentation and analysis.

Recruitment and Engagement

Travel to and actively participate in recruitment events, including transfer and college fairs. This involves the operation of a state vehicle. Deliver in-person presentations and engage with prospective students and engage with prospective students, staff, and other stakeholders. Host virtual information sessions to provide detailed information to prospective students, parents/legal guardians, guidance counselors, and college academic advisors. Engage with special populations and constituents to enhance student recruitment and networking opportunities. Collaborate with campus partners to offer accurate and current information about UF Online's academic programs.

Other duties

Perform additional duties as assigned in support of enrollment services.

This position is located at the University of Florida's main campus in Gainesville, FL and may be eligible for a flexible, hybrid work arrangement in accordance with the University of Florida and Division of Enrollment Management's policies.

Expected Salary:

$43,888 annually

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Valid driver's license is required.
