Admissions Officer II
Job Description:The Office of Admissions is currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as an Admissions Officer II. In this role, you will be an essential member of the Transfer Evaluation (TE) team, responsible for accurately posting and evaluating academic credits from various institutions for our diverse applicants. This position also involves supervising staff, ensuring the timely processing of transcripts, and serving as a key point of contact for inquiries from students and parents.
Key responsibilities include:
Credit Evaluation
Create initial records of academic credit from various sources, evaluating and recording transfer credits accurately in the student record system. Post graduate credit, UF international program credit, military credit, and credit by exam. Utilize systems such as Slate, OnBase, and Campus Solutions for formatting and coding. Exhibit independent decision-making and attention to detail in determining course equivalencies to UF coursework.Team Leadership
Hire, train, and supervise full-time staff and student assistants in the TE area. Responsible for coaching and mentoring staff, offering continuous support to foster professional development. Oversee third-party vendor databases to ensure timely receipt and entry of transcripts. Collaborate with OneStop Enrollment Services to handle escalated admissions-related cases.Communication and Information Services
Other Duties
Assist with the holistic review process for freshman applicants. Perform other tasks as assigned to support the Office of Admissions.This position is located at the University of Florida's main campus in Gainesville, FL and may be eligible for a flexible, hybrid work arrangement in accordance with the University of Florida and Division of Enrollment Management's policies.
Expected Salary:$47,500 annually

Minimum Requirements:Master's degree in an appropriate area; or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience.
