**ADMS/SCADA Systems Lead** Job Type: **Information Technology** Pay Range **$129,000 to $162,000** Location **Colorado Springs, CO** Date First Posted **1/23/25** Applications are being accepted through: 2/3/25 _*If no date is displayed, applications are being accepted on an ongoing basis; however, this job posting may close at any time after a minimum of 5 days of being posted._ **ADMS/SCADA Systems Lead** **_This job is eligible for relocation assistance to aid with the costs associated with moving to the Colorado Springs area._** Our SCADA/ADMS (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition/Advanced Distribution Management System) team is hiring an **ADMS/SCADA Systems Lead** to serve as the lead subject matter and technical expert for our SCADA and ADMS/OMS (Outage Management System) systems. You will lead and facilitate technical changes related to these applications which directly impact our ability to provide natural gas, electricity, water, and wastewater utilities to our customers. The work that you will do is critical to maintaining the data integrity, reliability, compliance, and security of our SCADA and ADMS/OMS systems and related applications. Your technical leadership will enable our Operations division to continuously improve processes, find cost savings, and solve operational challenges through the use and implementation of technology. **What Will You be Doing?** + Leading the planning, analysis, implementation, integration, and administration of database and/or operating systems that relate to the OSI Electra ADMS System + Coordinating with the SCADA team on work processes that involve SCADA data linked to the ADMS system + Collaborating with engineering, operations, and field teams to support electric distribution programs, projects, and initiatives using ADMS applications + Providing ADMS technical support to key stakeholders to minimize application downtime and increase reliability + Supporting the development, testing, and implementation of data integrations between ADMS, OMS, SCADA, and other enterprise systems + Maintaining, updating, troubleshooting, and configuring GIS data used within the ADMS environment; this includes electronic mapping and visualization of the electric distribution network and electric distribution connectivity model + Performing application patching and performance monitoring, and supporting ADMS advanced applications including Distribution Power Flow (DPF), Fault Location Isolation and Service Restoration (FLISR), and Volt/VAR Control and Optimization (VVC/VVO) + Supporting Colorado Springs Utilities' Incident Command Center during large outage events + Training System Operators, Engineering, and Field Support personnel in the use of applications associated with the ADMS/OMS systems to ensure network models are updated for effective use of ADMS technologies Please note that this is a fully onsite position requiring working on a monthly, week-long on-call rotation to ensure 24x7 operational support, and the ability to work extended periods to provide operational readiness of the EMS/SCADA system. **Who You Are** - The ideal candidate is skilled in and possesses expertise with most of the following: + Demonstrated experience with Open Systems International (OSI) EMS/SCADA/ADMS systems + Ability to lead and mentor a team of developers and foster a collaborative and productive work environment + Experience developing and managing ETL processes to ensure seamless data integration + Advanced knowledge of C/C++, SQL, Bash Shell, Python, and/or Windows batch + Basic knowledge of GIS and ESRI ArcGIS Desktop solutions (ArcMap and Pro) Any of the following knowledge, skills, and expertise are **highly valued (but not required)** for this position: + Experience integrating with APIs + Knowledge of NERC CIP compliance + Ability to write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction and reporting + Skill in any of Windows, Active Directory, Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Oracle Database, Tripwire Enterprise, Tripwire Log Center, or Cisco networking + Advanced knowledge in SCADA/EMS applications (power system modeling, state estimation, contingency analysis, power flow, short-term load forecast, load shed) + Advanced knowledge of ADMS applications (Outage Management System, VOLT/VAR optimization, Fault Location Isolation Service Restoration, Switch Order Management, Distribution Training Simulator) + Implementation of new ADMS/OMS systems + Oracle and SQL database administration The military job codes/duty codes most closely related to this role are: 25A, 25B, 25D, 25U, 25Z, 250N, 251A, 254A, 255N, 255S, 255Z 17C0, 17D1, 17D2, 17DX, 33S1, 33S2, 33S4, 33SX 6420, 6423, 6425, 6427, IT 2502, 4002, 4010, 5970, 9628, 9646, 9975, 9985, 9634, 9934, 9975, 9985 **Our Commitment to Our Employees** Our people are the heart and soul of Colorado Springs Utilities.
