Description:

POSITION PURPOSE

Assists Director of Nursing in providing clinical and administrative leadership planning, organizing, directing, monitoring and evaluating safe, superior and quality resident care to ensure the advancement of clinical practice and resident care that is consistent with the directives of Trinity Senior Living Communities.  Develops, implements, and manages ongoing measurement, action planning, and evaluation methods related to all dimensions of performance inclusive of budget, productivity, culture of safety, associate engagement, resident satisfaction, physician satisfaction, and clinical outcome targets for the areas of responsibility including Assisted Living.

MINIMUM QUALIFACTIONS

Must be a graduate of an accredited Nursing Degree program and possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in this state; Bachelor's of Science Degree in Nursing preferredMust possess and maintain current CPR Certification.Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term careMust have 1 year experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, long-term care environment, or other related healthcare facility.Previous experience working in long-term care or with the geriatric population preferredMust lead by example and possess superior customer service skills and professionalism.Must exhibit flexibility to adapt to ongoing change and work in a fast-paced, customer driven environment and have interpersonal skills to drive collaboration, commitment, and productivity when working with cross-functional teams, customers, and end users.Must be a self-starter, highly motivated with high energy level and demonstrate superior written and verbal communication and presentation skills.Possesses a high degree of personal accountability, responsibility and independent decision-making abilities with the skills to plan, organize, develop, implement and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures of the organization.
