Specialist, Change Management

Introduction 

We are seeking an Adoption & Change Management Specialist to join our Modernization Impact Zone Delivery & Implementation Team.

The Adoption & Change Management Specialist will interact with business stakeholders across the enterprise supporting the Account Opening & Reference Data Modernization initiative to drive success by developing and implementing change management strategies and plans that result in faster adoption, increased proficiency, minimized resistance, and quicker ROI on initiative.

Job Summary 

The ideal candidate will have natural curiosity of how people can leverage technology to work more effectively and sustainably and a passion for helping make the benefits of technology accessible to customers and business people in non-technical positions.

Ability to connect to strategy and purpose through assistance with articulating and communicating the vision to staff throughout the organization as they connect with it and leverage it to inform their actions, plans, and decisions.

Help the team adapt to changing ways of working by developing effective onboarding and engagement approaches.

Unify product, technical, and organizational change efforts by integrating change approach strategy development into Continuous Exploration and support staff engagement, readiness, uptake, and feedback in the remainder of the Continuous Delivery Pipeline.

Enable mastery of change and communication skills by teaching, mentoring, and leaders and members in change management, communications, and change measurement techniques.

Coach customers and project team on change management principles and their practical application in a project context

Evaluate the effectiveness of change management strategies and tactics used to promote adoption using quantitative (user metrics, surveys, etc.) and qualitative (observations, communications, etc.) techniques and revise plans, if needed, based on results

Conduct ongoing risk/impact assessments and provide support throughout the project to determine potential challenges/barriers/resistance and identify corresponding risk mitigation strategies

Coordinate change management implementation activities, ensuring execution aligns with overall plans, commitments, and schedule/cost targets.

Coordinate with program and release managers ensuring alignment between change management and technical implementation plans for the initiative.

Work closely with product management to ensure expected benefits are realized.

Develop and execute (or supervise others executing) stakeholder, resistance management, communication, and training plans.

Develop and deliver communications assets related to the change management plan, e.g., email communications templates, web content, etc.

Review proposed change management communications for alignment with plan and customer’s corporate communications standards.

Develop and deliver training assets related to the change management plan, e.g., training slide decks, webinars, job aids, video shorts, FAQs, etc.

Responsible for impact zone change management strategy, identifying and managing anticipated resistance.

Create actionable deliverables for the five change management levers: communication plan, sponsor road map, coaching plan, training plan and resistance management plan.

Support and engage senior leaders, and coach managers and supervisors.

Experience

A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process; experience with Prosci ADKAR Model is a plus.

Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.

Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal.

Excellent listening skills.

Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.

Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships.

Ability to collaborate with and influence others toward a common vision or goal

Excellent critical thinking skills and ability to adapt and be flexible as project conditions warrant and in ambiguous situations.

Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and scaled agile practices

Experience with largescale organizational change efforts, preferably digital transformation.

Change management certification or designation
