Associate Director, Equities Research
The Associate Director, Equities Research leads a team of research analysts focused on sector research: consumer, utilities, energy / materials, financials, healthcare, industrials, information technology, REITs; as well as dividend and value specialists. This job advises the firm's portfolio managers in search of investment opportunities for the firm's various equity research growth portfolios, as well as covering existing portfolio holdings. This job owns policy and strategy implementation for short-term equity research results.

Key Responsibilities and DutiesOversees the equity research process, working closely with the firm’s portfolio managers in searching for investment opportunities for the firm’s various equity portfolios as well as covering existing portfolio holdings.\nConducts and oversees the assembling and reviewing data necessary to value potential holdings.\nOversees teams responsible for managing equity market portfolios and supervising investment activities for the client and organization.\nEnsures partnerships are formed with cross-functional teams for targeted investment outcomes, while monitoring key performance indicators for optimal outcomes. \nFacilitates and reviews equity market research and manages the due diligence process for new investments.\nReviews equity market statistics and quarterly and semi-annual reports for portfolio managers.\nLiaises and builds partnerships with portfolio managers and develops equity market strategies.\nManages team performance through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional services and engagement, motivation, and team development.Educational RequirementsUniversity (Degree) PreferredWork Experience5+ Years Required; 7+ Years PreferredPhysical RequirementsPhysical Requirements: Sedentary Work

Base Pay Range: $206,300/yr. - $280,000/yr.

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.  In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
