Position Overview:
The ADTT Thin Film Sr. Manager at Micron will lead a team of ground-breaking engineers in the development and implementation of innovative Thin Film processes. This role is pivotal in ensuring the flawless execution of engineering projects, driving technological advancements, and maintaining our competitive edge in the market. Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the Thin Film engineering team to achieve world-class performance standards.Develop and optimize Thin Film processes to meet strict quality and efficiency targets.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Thin Film technology into production.Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement standard methodologies to improve efficiency, process reliability and performance.Mentor and develop team members to achieve their full potential and contribute to Micron’s vision.Successfully lead the transfer of Thin Film technology from TD to OMT and implement it effectively.Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.Qualifications & Skills:
Proven leadership experience in a semiconductor engineering environment.Outstanding knowledge and expertise in Thin Film technology and processes.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to determine and address complex technical challenges.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of working effectively in a team-oriented setting.Ability to compete in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and deliver results under strict deadlines with a positive and optimistic attitude.Knowledge of advanced engineering principles and practices in the technology sector.Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.Minimum of 8 years of experience in Thin Film process development and optimization, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.Demonstrated experience in managing and leading engineering teams.Proven track record of successfully implementing innovative solutions in a semiconductor environment.Experience working in an international, multicultural environment is a plus.Fluent in English and communication.About Micron Technology, Inc.
