JOB DESCRIPTION Position Title: Adult Education Family Literacy Preschool/Infant Toddler Teacher Salary Range: $15 - $20 Hourly Rate Based on Experience and Education Contract Length: Part-time Position Summary: This position requires an individual with experience in early childhood development to provide quality, nurturing care to infants, toddlers, and preschool children enrolled in the Adult Education Family Literacy program for 10-15 hours a week, daytime hours. Immediate Supervisor: Supervisor of Adult Education Job Description: Work collaboratively with other program staff and parents in an early childhood setting to plan and implement appropriate care, curriculum, and activities Model and teach developmentally effective activities and interactions with children and parents during Parent and Child Together (PACT) time Participate in professional development training opportunities, team activities, and meetings as required by the program; review emails regularly Provide a healthy, safe, and positive environment for enrolled children (including feeding, diaper changing, etc.) Communicate positively and effectively with parents, children, and colleagues Perform any additional tasks as deemed necessary by the supervisor. Qualifications: Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalency At least one year of experience in an early childhood program serving infants and toddlers in a developmentally appropriate environment Possess strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills " /> Having Trouble Logging In?
