We are looking for an Advanced Analytics Senior Analyst to join our Strategy& Transformation team in İstanbul. Directly report to Analytics Manager. Responsibilities Build, codify models according to local business needs (AOP targets, value engineering, customer satisfaction, sales lift model, granular market forecasting) Strongly influence business decisions via integrating commercial cycles with opportunity identification and risks in terms of market growth & share Support strategic decision making process (PSP and ACP) with insights based on ad hoc analytics outputs and category & share forecast from annual to monthly Guide DX teams by building analytical tools that helps shape and impact portfolio, brand strategies and plans, trade and sales finance activities Serve as the analytics person on projects, applying logical and creative thinking to drive to fact-based insights Manage, leverage, and develop custom and syndicated analytical tools to monitor and diagnose brand business issues, identify information and data needs, and make actionable recommendations Track E2E digitalization agenda (storeDNA) that the projects are on track and KPIs are met. Building strong relationships with BI, data partners and Sector Data Engineers to get the right data and deliver to the right partner. Optimize analytics pipelines to reduce maintenance and cloud computing costs. Manage Business Analytics & Digital Insights budget efficiently, and effectively, to maximize return on spending Qualifications 6-8 years of experience running projects leveraging data, insights and analytics, preferably in a FMCG or retail company, or as a consultant servicing clients in this space. Excellent communication skills in English & Turkish, both verbal and written, along with the ability to understand complex business needs and communicate analytics outputs to business stakeholders. Solid experience around econometric modelling, forecasting, non-linear regression models. Solid experience of store/retailer segmentation, classification models with ML. Experience of working with market data providers (Nielsen, Ipsos) is a plus Experience on data & analytics tools : Excel, R, Python, SQL, PowerBI. Experience on analytcs platforms: Google Cloud BigQuery, Google Cloud storage, Google Cloud functions, Azure SQL, Azure blobs, DataBricks, PowerBI The ability to tell a compelling story using analytics outputs and data from primary, secondary and third-party data sources. Bachelor’s degree; a Bachelor’s degree in a statistics, econometry, engineering field.
