The Advanced Associate Engineer will support laser machining engineering activities in order to test, inspect and modify prototype designs of capillaries or other tools. He/She will assist engineer to complete complex customer application support or equivalent analysis support and assist in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions. He will also maintain the laboratory and regularly fill laboratory inventory.

Operation of a laser machine for mass production and for the development of future products. Specialization in all laser processes in the company. Running work programs led by the laser engineer- laboratory manager. Production support and automation: loading, unloading and packing of parts. Packaging and preparation for sending for further production/mini mass production (in Israel and China). Machine operation: controlling the loading and running of parameters on the laser machine, running development and production processes and operator review on the machine monitor. Order and organization: gathering information, documenting and monitoring the results and parameters of the machine and the process. Responsible for managing the periodic maintenance for the laser machines in the factory. Inventory management and tracking in Excel, management of complete purchase orders for the laboratory: direct contact with the factory in China, contact with suppliers in Israel to receive quotes and save costs.

Required Education:

Technician or engineer: machinery/electronics/electricity.

Experience and skills required for the position:

About 4 years of experience is required in the following areas:

Controlling the operation of a CNC machine or a laser system for production. Reading drawings and technical specifications and understanding them as a whole (geometric and spatial understanding). Experience working with optical measuring devices (Confocal, microscope...). experienced with mechanical design and optics. Experience in delicate work, that requires precision and full attention to details. Good ability in organization and documentation - documentation of parameters, processes, results of lectures, etc. Collecting information and processing it into reports (using Excel). Process understanding.

Advantage for experience in

Work with System 3R Workpal machine. G-Code language. AUTOCAD, SOLIDWORKS. Working with suppliers.

Additional capabilities :

Excel at a very good level. Ability to work independently and lead tasks. Excellent communicative ability, working with teams and interfaces inside and outside the organization.

Job scope: full time + overtime and Fridays as needed.

Languages: English and Hebrew at a high level (reading, writing, speaking).
