UOP Honeywell Engineering is looking for an Advanced CAD Specialist to work within the Engineering projects team. As an Advanced CAD Specialist, you will work with a group of experienced CAD designers in the Rosemont, Illinois office along with other global engineering offices in support and development of engineering drawings for worldwide customers. The position focuses on detailed complex assignments, infrastructure facilitation/collaboration with the drafting/engineering community, customer interaction and mentoring.
\nKey Responsibilities:
\n\nComplete complex assignments.\nUnderstands and provides input to customer deviations in a positive manner\nMentor new drafting CAD specialists in day-to-day activities.\nTechnical communication with internal team members and external customers.\nPlans and conducts work requiring judgment in independent evaluation\nProvides guidance and shares knowledge with and drafting team members\nSupports complex technologies and/or multiple technologies.\nInvolved in multiple projects and plans accordingly\nSuggests technical options to address customer requests\nHas a good relationship with customer (internal/external)\nRecognizes opportunities to make PID SCH A improvements\nShares best practices gained from past projects\n\nThe annual base salary range for this position is $87,200 - $109,100. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. \n\nExpertise with regards to PID detail for multiple technologies\nProficient in MicroStation\nExtensive experience on PID details to exercise judgment to plan and accomplish goals. \nIdentify opportunities to improve work process and procedures\nUnderstands internal/external customer needs and demonstrates good judgement while keeping UOP interest in line\nInput on new tool creation to steam line production\nPerform many assignments independently with instructions as to the general results expected. \nSupported new technology development\nSupport transfer of UOP technology to the customer (customer PID meetings)\n\n\n
