What will you do?

The Advanced Digital Data Analyst is a pivotal leader in driving data-informed decisions across the AMER region, encompassing all VF brands. This role holds significant influence over the selection and implementation of digital analytics tools within the organization. By collaborating closely with product, UX, and brand teams, the analyst will ensure that every decision is underpinned by actionable insights derived from data. Projects will focus on analyzing user behavior, identifying opportunities for improvement, and providing strategic recommendations to elevate the digital consumer experience.

This role will report into the Sr Manager, Digital Analytics, which sits within the AMER Data & Analytics team. This team acts as a strategic enabler for the AMER region by delivering data products & capabilities that empower the brands & commercial teams with data & actionable insights.

Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more.

Act as a subject matter expert in GA4, digital analytics, and channel performance. Train brand and central team members, promote tool adoption, and build trust with key business stakeholders.Encourage the adoption of UX analytics platforms and help teams optimize their use.Provide a comprehensive view of ecommerce performance by leveraging various data sources, including GA4, Big Query, and Contentsquare.Monitor site performance to identify business opportunities and determine the drivers behind key performance indicators, such as UX improvements, checkout optimization, online merchandising, and content effectiveness.Summarize actionable insights for relevant stakeholders to promote data-driven decisions and maximize business opportunities. Communicate findings through engaging and impactful reports.Coordinate cross-brand alignments and round tables to facilitate the sharing of analysis and opportunities.Assist in establishing KPIs to measure the impact of AB tests, build dashboards to monitor test performance, and provide in-depth analysis of final results.Enhance the skills of your peers by helping them improve their communication and expanding their knowledge of the platforms. Train them on the reasons behind the numbers and how to gain buy-in from their stakeholders.

What do you need to succeed?

We all have unique skills that we bring to work and celebrate every day. For this role, there are foundation skills you’ll need to succeed and excel. Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your three years of experience and professional achievements. 

The foundation skills you will need in this position are:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a similar field.At least 3+ years of relevant experience with Digital Analytics platforms for E-commerce websites, including hands-on experience with CX/UX analytics tools such as Contentsquare, Quantum Metric, Decibel Insights, Hotjar, or Clicktale.Strong expertise in GA4 data structure and reporting, with proficiency in both Big Query and the GA4 UI.Proficiency in data visualization and business intelligence tools; experience with Power BI is a plus.Familiarity with a Digital Consumer Experience tool such as Contentsquare, Quantum Metric, or Fullstory is a plus.Experience conducting and interpreting statistical analysis via Python, R, or similar tools.Ability to prioritize tasks, balancing immediate data needs with ongoing projects.Ability to operate as a self-starter, able to work independently with a proactive working style.Strong analytical skills to distill ambiguous or open-ended questions into focused investigations.Effective communication skills, including translating analysis into actionable recommendations, fostering strong stakeholder relationships, and setting clear expectations and timelines.

Hiring Range:

$73,440.00 USD - $91,800.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
