We're in search of an Advanced Electrical Design Engineer to join our dynamic new product design team. The ideal candidate will have experience in R&D or New Product Introduction.

About the Role:
As a vital member of Honeywell's Electrification Sensing business, you'll collaborate with a team of skilled design engineers. This business unit focuses on crafting solutions for the alternative and clean energy sectors. Your role will involve developing sensors utilizing cutting-edge technology and signal conditioning circuits tailored for Electric Vehicles and Energy Storage applications across Automotive, Transportation, Aerospace, and Industrial markets.

LOCATION: 
This role can be worked from Freeport, IL or Richardson, TX on a flexible hybrid work schedule.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Contribute to sensor electrical design tasks within a cross-functional team.
•Drive the entire product development lifecycle, from defining customer requirements to product release.
•Optimize designs for superior performance, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
•Generate detailed designs and documentation for sensors.
•Develop software and firmware for product, production, and laboratory use during development phases.
•Analyze complex data, presenting findings through summary charts, graphs, and reports.
•Devise sensor compensation algorithms to enhance functionality.
•Utilize analog, digital, or mixed-signal computer models for simulating various concepts.
•Adhere to a structured New Product Introduction process.
•Collaborate seamlessly with a global, cross-functional team.
•Implement design for six sigma tools and methodologies throughout the design process.
•Engage with customers, sales, marketing, production, and technical peers.
•Produce comprehensive documentation for customers, production staff, and vendors.
•Occasional Travel
