Advanced Electrical System Design Engineer

Use your advanced knowledge of the hardware engineering discipline, processes and tools to help Honeywell deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will work under limited supervision and alongside some of the world's most talented engineers. You will contribute to the development of Honeywell's next generation of products by designing, testing and/or validating products/processes from prototype to market. You will be part of a group of highly committed professionals who provide expertise to ensure the success of complex engineering projects and programs while acting as a mentor to more junior engineers. You will interact with internal and external customers in order to facilitate the completion of products to customer specifications.

Responsibilities:Provide leadership in global cross functional engineering teams for systems level product development in electrical engineering of hardware used in complex gas detection instrumentsImplement life cycle development process from requirements gathering, design, development, test, and release. Excellent documentation and design of experiments backgroundUse schematic capture software to design, simulate, prototype and test circuits, boards and hardwareDesign hardware for power use from AC mains in through low voltage DCFacilitate and participate in risk analysis reviews; DFMEA and PFMEA, Quality Audits and problem-solving field returns Identify opportunities for cost reduction or yield improvementFacilitate product integration into corporate management ERP systems including ECN change notices in a factory environment. Facilitate change management activitiesAbility to work in a multi-tasking environment with potentially conflicting goals and objectives.Compensation & Benefits:

Salary Range $98,400 - $123,000

YOU MUST HAVEBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.2+ years of engineering experience in cross functional product Demonstrated team building and communication skills with various functional teams including Mechanical, Regulatory, Quality, Service, and Marketing2+ years experience with eCAD modeling and simulation. Prototyping and debug.  Design for Regulatory including CE - EMC
