As an Advanced Embedded Firmware Engineer at Honeywell, you will be responsible for designing,\ndeveloping, and debugging embedded firmware. You will collaborate with\ncross-functional teams to define system requirements and ensure the efficient\nand timely completion of firmware projects. You’ll be part of the global\nproduct development team, that performs Firmware development release on Fire\nAlarm control panels and devices.  In this position, you will be\nresponsible for supporting the activities to release end-user solutions to the customer. \nThere will be opportunities to learn new technologies, which is encouraged.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign,\n develop, and debug embedded firmware solutions.Collaborate\n with cross-functional teams to define system requirements.Ensure\n timely completion of firmware projects.Conduct\n code reviews and implement testing procedures.YOU MUST HAVEBachelor's\n degree in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering,\n or mathematics.4+\n years of experience in design and development of embedded firmware\n solutions in a multi-disciplinary system that includes hardware, firmware,\n and communication protocols (wired or wireless).Understanding\n of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).Strong\n sense of ownership and drive; someone who is self-motivated and can work\n with little supervision, who consistently takes the initiative to get\n things done.Good\n analytical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, coupled\n with the drive to learn.Fluent\n written and verbal communication skills in English.Proficiency\n in programming languages such as C/C++Proficiency\n in Embedded LinuxWE VALUEExperience\n working with ARM, AVR, etc architectures is a plus.Experience\n working with ARM Cortex M4/M7/A9 is a plus.Experience\n working with SOC or multi-processor SOC architectures is a strong plus.Knowledge\n in Test Driven Development (TDD).Knowledge\n in DevSecOps to integrate CI/CD pipeline (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bamboo).Additional InformationJOB ID: req471322Category: EngineeringLocation: Av.
