Advanced Engineering Technician

Scottsdale, AZ

Contract Position

$27.96-$32.96/Hour 

Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.

Responsibilities:

Assist with engineering activities, including the design, testing, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype electromechanical systems and specialized test equipment.Interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, and schematics to construct, troubleshoot, and calibrate tools, equipment, and systems.Conduct and document experiments to define process parameters, analyze results, and recommend process improvements.Implement and document solutions for process enhancement and efficiency.Design and build basic tooling and fixtures to address unique tasks.Organize and interpret data to identify cause-and-effect relationships, recommending resolutions or improvements.

Qualifications:

Educational Requirements:

Associate’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.

Clearance Requirements:

Active Secret Clearance is required.

Experience and Skills:

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.Proficiency in the use of fabrication tools and the ability to fabricate complex hardware.Solid understanding of technical theory and its practical application.
