The selected intern will need to report onsite at the Silver Spring, MD, office for the entire duration of the program, which runs from May through August 2025. United Therapeutics does not provide housing or transportation. This opportunity will support UT’s Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) program. As a member of UT’s ESG team, your work will be highly collaborative across multiple functions and levels within United Therapeutics, including environmental, health, safety, and sustainability, corporate real estate, and others. **Main Responsibilities will include:** + Provide research and project management support and coordination to UT’s ESG program with a focus on helping to quantify and contextualize the benefits of certain future environmental initiatives + Present your deliverables/findings through various forums including an intern-wide presentation session and a final readout to management. + Engage in learning activities, networking with colleagues across the company, and enjoying full access to UT’s Employee Resource Groups. **For this role you will need** Minimum Requirements + Must be currently enrolled in an MBA or Master’s program + Must be available to work 40 hours per week onsite in Silver Spring, MD + At least 1 year of relevant work experience + Knowledge about and experience with life cycle assessments (LCAs) and reporting frameworks such as Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and/or Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) Preferred Qualifications + Knowledge about or experience with Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), and/or the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) The salary for this position ranges from $26.00 to $26.00 per hour.
