Roles and Responsibilities

Perform the electromagnetic analysis for electric machine designLead/support the electromagnetic design of electric machineCollaborate with interfacing disciplines of electric machine design and testSupport the electric machine concept development for hybrid applications

Required Qualifications

MS in electrical engineeringProfound experience on electrical machinesExpertise in electrical machine designDeep design experience in permanent magnet generators/motorsElectric Machine electromagnetic design experience, preferably in the hybrid electric spaceProven expertise in 2D/3D electromagnetic finite element analysis, preferably ANSYS (Maxwell 2D/Maxwell 3D)Proven expertise in Matlab/Simulink and/or PythonExperience in validating electric machine technology through prototyping and laboratory testingFamiliarity with CAD (Computer Aided Design) toolsFamiliarity with converter duty and high voltage electrical insulation for electrical machine applicationsFamiliarity in inverter machine system integrationProven system thinker with ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
