Advanced Manfacturing Engineer II
Innovate to solve the world's most important challengesUse your knowledge of manufacturing engineering fundamentals to help Honeywell Advanced Manufacturing Engineering deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will work under immediate supervision and alongside some of the world's most talented engineers. You will contribute to the development of Honeywell's next generation of aerospace engine products supporting new products from concept development through the start of production for manufacturing cost, yield, and schedule execution. You will be part of a group of highly committed professionals who support current product value engineering and the optimization of the manufacturing process at the Pheonix Gear Line COE.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and execute projects
• Collaborate with various functional teams
• Prepare or update MOTs/WIs
• Perform material reviews and investigations
• Conduct special process audit responses
• Request funding for equipment tooling, review tooling requirements and maintenance status 
• Support shop floor audits and daily tier meetings
• Move hardware physically and electronically through material review process

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
• At least two (2) years in manufacturing and industrial engineering support for an aerospace company 
• Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

WE VALUE

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering 
• Basic knowledge of blueprint and engineering specifications
• Machining and manufacturing experience 
• Ability to focus on important information and identify key details
• Strong technical, analytical, organization, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
• Takes initiative, exercises sound judgment, discretion, and capable of complex decision making in a dynamic work environment
