Advanced Manufacturing Engineer -Automation

We’re looking for a talented **Advanced Manufacturing Engineer** specializing in **Automation** to join our dynamic team in the Auburn, Maine Metro Area. **Position Overview:** As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer - Automation, you will play a critical role in enhancing our manufacturing processes through advanced automation technologies. You will lead projects aimed at increasing efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring product quality. This is a Direct Hire position, Fulltime, Permanent job. **Key Responsibilities:** + Design, develop, and implement automation systems for manufacturing processes. + Conduct feasibility studies and ROI analysis for automation projects. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives. + Oversee the installation and commissioning of new automated equipment and systems. + Troubleshoot and optimize existing automation systems for enhanced performance. + Provide technical guidance and support to production teams and staff. + Develop and maintain documentation for automated systems, including SOPs, training materials, and technical specifications. + Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in manufacturing automation. **Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or related field. + Minimum of 7 years of experience in manufacturing engineering with a focus on automation. + Proficiency in modern automation technologies such as PLCs, robotics, and machine vision systems preferred. + Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. + Experience working for Modern, High Volume, Low Error Manufacturing Company, preferred. + Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. + Strong communication and project management skills. + CAD proficiency **What We Offer:** + Our minimum starting salary for this position is $100,000 per year, with flexibility for a higher salary based on your experience and skill set. + Comprehensive benefits package, including 401k match, health insurance, and paid time off. + Opportunities for professional development and career advancement. + A collaborative and innovative work environment. **Pay Details:** $100,000.00 to $133,000.00 per year Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to https://www.adecco.com/en-us/candidate-privacy The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable: + The California Fair Chance Act + Los Angeles City Fair Chance Ordinance + Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers + San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance
