Advanced Manufacturing Engineer - Sr.

Honeywell’s ACST team\nis seeking a Sr. Advanced Manufacturing Engineer, for our Chandler,\nAZ location. 

YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE:
New Program Implementation:
Develop, evaluate, and\n improve manufacturing processes using advanced engineering principles and\n techniques. Conduct feasibility studies and cost to support new projects\n and process improvements.
Utilize data analysis and\n simulation tools to optimize production workflows and resource\n allocation. Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing\n teams, root cause analysis, and implementing effective solutions.
Developing and Implementing\n Cost Reduction Strategies:
Collaborate with\n cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, procurement,\n and quality assurance, to develop and execute cost reduction strategies.
Propose and implement\n process improvements, lean manufacturing techniques, and value\n engineering initiatives to optimize production costs.
Continuous Improvement and\n Innovation:
Stay updated on industry\n trends, technological advancements, and best practices related to cost\n reduction and production efficiency.
Lead continuous improvement\n projects to streamline workflows, eliminate waste, and enhance\n productivity.
Quality Control and\n Assurance:
Work closely with quality\n assurance teams to ensure product quality, reliability, and compliance\n with regulatory standards.
Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare regular reports,\n presentations, and analyses to communicate achievements, ongoing\n initiatives, and future opportunities to senior management.

 US CITIZENSHIP REQUIREMENTS
Must be a US\nCitizen due to contractual requirements.

YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited\n institution in engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical\n Engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree (e.g., MBA/MS) may be\n advantageous.
5 years of manufacturing floor\n experience as a process/manufacturing engineer, equipment engineer, and/or\n project engineer.
Proven experience in new program\n implementation, process optimization, and improving production efficiency\n within a manufacturing environment.
Strong analytical skills with\n proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, PLM, ERP\n systems).
Excellent project management skills with\n the ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and lead\n cross-functional teams.
Effective communication\n and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of\n the organization.
U.S. citizenship is required due to contractual requirements.\n Applicants must also be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government\n security clearance. Continued employment is contingent upon successful\n completion of security processing.

Blackbelt Six Sigma Certification and project\n experience
Lean Manufacturing Certification and\n implementation experience
Wide Experience supporting critical\n manufacturing.
Experience stabilizing production\n environments after product launch.
