As an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer here at Honeywell\nAerospace, you will play a crucial role in driving operational efficiency, cost\nsavings and product quality within the Global Repair and Overhaul Engineering\n(GROE) team.

In this role as an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer/Site Repair\nDevelopment Engineer, you will be responsible for providing mechanical\naftermarket product design knowledge and experience relating to\nMechanical System and Components (MS&C) products. You will lead novel, Bigger, Bolder, Faster and Make it Happen engineering projects\nrelating to Productivity, Cost takeout, Value Engineering and Work\nscope standardization programs to ensure that business objectives are achieved\nthrough Product Design improvements that ultimately help ship\nproducts with the utmost quality.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduct\n focused and add value by changing the current design to support business\n objectivesEnsure\n a disciplined and data driven approach is utilized for technical decisionsSupport\n GROE productivity goals utilizing the Value Creation ProcessDrive\n GROE material savings financial acumen to ensure productivity complianceDevelop\n innovative repair designs to restore Aftermarket parts and alleviate\n shortagesOperate\n as a team member in Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma and Honeywell\n Operating System (HOS)Establish\n a technical interface between Honeywell customer support representatives\n and customersPartner\n with our customers to identify and execute actions to drives future growth\n opportunitiesSite\n Repair Development EngineerU.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

YOU MUST HAVEBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics4+\n years of related engineering experience (electrical, mechanical, aerospace,\n manufacturing or process)WE VALUETechnical\n understanding and physical expertise with the assembly/testing of designed\n pneumatic related products is of valueDFSS Green\n Belt Certification is of valueDriving continuous\n improvement and cost savings initiativesComfortable\n interacting with internal/external customers Ability\n to work independentlyEagerness\n to get involved in hands-on workSAP experience
