The Carrier internship experience offers interns an environment that provides practical, challenging, and meaningful on-the-job work experience, and the opportunity to apply knowledge and demonstrate strengths in efforts to assist Carrier in achieving its business strategy. **Key Responsibilities** As an Advanced Materials Engineering intern you will gain experience to include, but is not limited to, activities and tasks listed below: • Maintaining detailed records of testing conducted with detailed measurements of test solutions, environmental conditions, and equipment status. • Organizing test documents and provide summarized reports to engineers or internal customers. • Conducting additional sample preparation, metallography, and microscopy of tested samples as needed. • Coordinating documentation, return to customer, and/or storage of tested samples. • Assisting in continuous improvement efforts to increase test reliability and acceleration. • Maintaining a safe working environment, following all procedures and PPE requirements. **Required Qualifications** • Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree program, majoring in Materials Science, Chemistry or Mechanical Engineering • GPA must be greater than or equal to 3.0 **Preferred Qualifications** • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications • Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills • Self-driven and proactive • Relevant coursework or previous internships preferred • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels • Team player and willing to collaborate with others on projects RSRCAR \#EarlyCareers **Carrier is An Equal** **Opportunity/Affirmative** **Action Employer.
