their application to specific projects and work with different disciplines in the Rosemont office along with other global engineering offices in support of modular projects and sales support.

You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Rosemont, IL location on a hybrid work schedule.

\n

In this role, you will impact the development of advanced mechanical designs for structural components and systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define mechanical requirements and specifications, perform structural analysis and simulations, and ensure product performance and reliability. Your expertise in structural engineering will contribute to the creation of cutting-edge products and solutions that meet the needs of our customers. \nThe annual base salary range for this position is $94,400 - $118,200.  Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.  Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.\n\n

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

\n\nProvide proposal/sales support by reviewing client specifications and requirements, provide steel weight estimates including an estimate of major member sizes.\nReview and confirm code basis for each project.\nPrepare structural design and fabrication specifications for each project.\nCollaborate with other project team members to comply with project requirements and meet project schedules.\nReview of detailed design including drawings, MTO, 3D Model and STAAD analysis.\nReview of fabrication shop detail drawings and fabrication sequence.\nGuide and monitor sub-contracted structural engineers.\nInternational travel up to 15% annually in 1 to 2 week durations.\n\nBENEFITS OF WORKING FOR HONEYWELL\n

YOU MUST HAVE

\nBachelor’s degree\nfrom an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences,\ntechnology, engineering or mathematicsMinimum 5 years’ experience with refining/petrochemical industry design codes/specifications: AISC, ASCE 7, IBC, ACI, API.Experience in Steel/Concrete Structure design (Specs/Standard/Calculations/Drawings).Basic knowledge of Civil engineering design (Roadway and Pavement, Underground sewer).\n
