Education: Associate’s degree minimum, Bachelor’s degree a plus.Years of Relevant Experience: Minimum 2 years hospital experience.Computer Skills: EPIC, Office 365, etc.Other Skills: Strong communication skills, empathy & strong emotional intelligence, resilience, time management, and organizational skills.Job Duties:
Responsible for coordinating complex inter-departmental schedule management in collaboration with key team members to solve challenging scheduling requirements.Coordinates medical imaging procedures with internal and external providers.Responsible for coordinating, with minimal oversight, high-risk implanted-device medical imaging procedures based on the patients’ needs with other services, ensuring that certain procedures and protocols are being met.Evaluating urgent/stat requests from providers and using good judgement to prioritize pressing matters when time is limited while communicating with those of lesser urgency. Facilitates research appointment requests to ensure the patient is scheduled within the appropriate study window.Conducts exam-mapping verification of the ordered exam on the appropriate scanners based on software and protocol needs.Education
