Join a team that applies its technical expertise and knowledge to ensure products are produced with high quality and efficiency. You will be a technical expert with responsibility for product and process applications. You will ensure product integrity in manufacturing output and continuous improvements working with labs and factory operations.
Our team develops new or modified processes, defines process equipment requirements and specifications, and reviews processing techniques and methods applied in the manufacture, fabrication, and evaluation of Ring Laser Gyroscope and MEMS based inertial sensors and IMUs. You will influence the planning and designing of manufacturing engineering processes. You will determine parts and tools needed by the team to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specification, for both existing and new processes/product technologies. You will maximize efficiency by analyzing the layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization. Support daily production activities and drive producibility improvement projects in a challenging environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
•\tProvide test and manufacturing support for RLG and MEMS based inertial measurement units (IMUs).
•\tPerform yield and performance data analysis to monitor process capability and product health trends.
•\tUtilize CAMP, Lean, and DMAIC Six-Sigma methodologies to govern engineering standard work practices.
•\tInvestigate and resolve technical issues, facilitate issue identification and analysis.
•\tDevelop improvements in product design and in the manufacturing and assembly processes for cost and cycle time reductions.
•\tAssist development of new products.
•\tSupport knowledge for test equipment and preventative maintenance plans to maintain factory capacity and efficient product flow.
•\tFacilitate a self-driven work force culture to achieve RTY, BIQ, COPQ, and other SQDIC goals.

The annual base salary range for this position\nis $93,600 - $117,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a\ngeneral guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer,\nincluding but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position,\nthe candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as\nmarket and business considerations
MUST HAVE:
•\tBachelor's Degree in STEM field
•\t5+ years’ experience
•\tMust be a U.S Citizen due to contractual requirements
