As an Advanced Modeling Sr. Engineer at Micron, you will employ techniques and theories drawn from areas of computational mechanics, semiconductor science, materials science, and engineering to build predictive stress/strain models and provide concrete insights and solutions.
The Advanced modeling technologist will be responsible for wafer, die, and package level modeling across multiple DRAM, NAND, and HBM nodes. The modeling engineer will collaborate extensively with PI, process, and packaging teams for Multiphysics and multiscale model development, deployment, and providing solutions to be implemented on Si.
In this role, you will develop methods, processes, and systems to build predictive fracture mechanics model to generate useful insights and solutions. You will interact with process engineers and PI teams to identify questions and issues for data analysis and experiments. Develops and codes software programs, algorithms, and computational modeling tools. Identifies significant insights from modeling and data; interprets and communicates insights and findings from analysis and experiments to engineering teams and leaders.
What you will bring to Micron:
Experience in computational solid and fracture mechanics modelingAdvanced skills in FEA analysis, RVE, and global/local modelsExperience with Silvaco tools, Ansys, Abaqus,Established skills in multiscale stress and thermomechanical models for hotspotsExperience with user documentation, reports, and presentation to managers and leadersPredict on structural challenges ahead of SiHandle face-to-face interactions with all internal partners/collaboratorsStrong software development skills
Requirements for this position:
