Essential Responsibilities:
As an Advanced Nuclear Commercial Leader (Proposal Manager), you will:
Develop Proposals, Cost Estimates, and Pricing Strategies. Support reviews of Terms and Conditions and Customer Purchase OrderBe the primary interface with the Global Sales Team on opportunities in the Advanced Nuclear businessAct as a key component to the cross-functional team consisting of Business Leaders, Project Managers, Product Managers, Engineering, Finance, Contracts, Legal, Sourcing, and Account ManagersPresent the deal structure and financial models to Business Leadership for approvalDevelop review material and position papers regarding new unit opportunities for review at GE Vernova (GEV) Power and GEV Corporate levels. Work with points of contact at GEV Power and GEV Corporate to finalize these documentsParticipate with Nuclear Account Managers and Contract Managers in negotiations with the customer as requiredDevelop customer and partner presentation material describing the financial performance of a specific project, potential funding sources and the recommended project delivery model. Present and explain these models and positions to potential customer and partners.Along with Contract Manager, the Advanced Nuclear Project Director and Product Line Manager, take a lead role in customer contract negotiationsWorking with potential partners, develop project delivery models that would be acceptable to both the delivery team and customerEstablish the proposal or contract review roadmap with a focus on deliveryCoordinate subject matter expert reviews of contract documents and financial models (inputs and results), incorporating commentsOwn deadlines and drive the process to achieve these datesPartner with functional leaders (Marketing / Sales Team) to improve customer satisfaction and bring customer issues directly to the business for resolutionMaintain the GEV Customer Relationship Management System (SalesForce) and Cost Estimating toolsSupport achievement of Commercial Team metrics related to the "Inquiry to Order" processRequired Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or universityMinimum 10 years of directly related experience including 5 years of experience developing Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractsEligibility Requirements:
Ability and willingness to travel up to 20% (U.S. and internationally, as required)The preferred work location for this role is at the GEH Headquarters in Wilmington, NC; but highly qualified (US based) remote candidates will be considered.Desired Characteristics:
Able to construct mathematical models using Excel; able to edit and revise documents using MS Word, including format revisions for productivityAble to multi-task to support on-going mature contract negotiations, while also developing emerging opportunitiesThe base pay range for this position is $150,000-200,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for bonuses, such as a performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This position is expected to close on 3/12/2025.
The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
