Advanced Planning/Manufacturing Execution System Coordinator
If you have a passion for production scheduling, enjoy working collaboratively, and have a background in production or manufacturing operations, we may have the perfect role for you! As a Sr Scheduler, you will develop and coordinate complex schedules, material requirements lists and production plans, monitor production activity to ensure a smooth and controlled flow of materials timed to meet production requirements, and troubleshoot and correct potential scheduling problems. You'll also validate records on production and material deficiencies and prepare and track work orders for production or purchase requests based on production schedules.

We are seeking a highly skilled MES Specialist with experience in implementing and maintaining SNC's MES tool (Apriso) and Advanced Planning System(Ortems). You will need a thorough understanding of Engineering, Manufacturing and Planning concepts and be able to work with cross-functional teams to implement and support solutions. The MES Specialist will be responsible to continue seamless integration of the MES and Planning system with existing processes and systems, as well as identifying areas for improvement and optimization.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement Apriso MES solutionsConfigure and customize Manufacturing Execution Systems applications to meet business requirementsTest, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to Integrated system functionalityAssist with Development of System requirements, system documentation, including user manuals, training materials, and standard operating proceduresProvide technical support to end-users and assist with training and adoption of MES applicationsMonitor and analyze MES data to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimizationWork with vendors and service providers to ensure seamless integration of MES systems with existing technology infrastructureStay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in MES technology

Must-haves:

Bachelor's Degree a related field and typically 10 or more years of relevant experienceHigher-level degree may substitute for relevant experienceRelevant experience may be considered in lieu of required educationComprehensive knowledge and experience with manufacturing/production scheduling techniquesProficiency with scheduling softwareBachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field3+ years of experience in implementing and supporting Manufacturing Execution SystemStrong understanding of Manufacturing Resource Planning concepts and best practices Strong understanding of MES concepts and best practicesStrong understanding of Advanced Planning concepts and best practicesFamiliarity with manufacturing processes and systemsExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teamsAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:

Previous operational flight management experienceKnowledge of both FAA and U.S. Military operational flight governing directivesBackground in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US MilitaryExperience with Apriso MES including Production, Quality, Warehouse, Maintenance, and Time & Labor Experience with Ortems APS modules including Scheduling and Planning Costpoint Materials Module

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $91,154.71 - $125,337.72. SNC considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.

SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
