Provide psychiatric evaluations and treatment to patients admitted to the program.Perform nursing histories and physical assessments.Facilitate patient and families in meeting their psychosocial needs.Provide medication evaluations and management in collaboration with the program’s Medical Director/Psychiatrist.Administer medication to patients as prescribed.Annual certification in the Handle With Care behavior management system. Qualifications A current CPR/BLS card with demonstrated and cognitive skills is required.Must possess a Master’s Degree and must have current and valid Nurse Practitioner or Advanced Practice Nurse license. At least one year experience of providing direct patient care. Must have prescriptive authority.
