Advanced Practice Provider-Surgical MLPS

Mercy Hospital provides a full spectrum of surgical services including but not limited to orthopedics, vascular and urology. The surgery department utilizes Physician Assistants on the surgical service as part of a multidisciplinary team providing advanced, high quality healthcare.

Advanced Practice Provider Responsibilities include:

Performing comprehensive examinations Diagnosing and treats illnesses and injuries First and/or second assist in surgical procedures Conducting daily floor rounds Formulating and implementing treatment and therapeutic plans Discharge planning and discharging patients

 

Advanced Practice Provider Qualifications:

 

Licensed by the state of New York NCCPA and ACLS/BLS certified Minimum of 2 years OR and floor experience preferred New graduates will also be considered Experience in Orthopedics a definite plus

 

The rate for this position is $63.38 to $84.21 per hour.
