Saint Francis Hospital is currently looking for an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join our cardiology team committed to providing advanced, high-quality healthcare in both inpatient and outpatient setting. This position will support Dr. George A. Petrossian, Director of Interventional Cardiovascular Procedures and Co-Director of The John Brancaccio Heart Valve Center in Roslyn, NY. Job Details Responsibilities: The Advanced Practice Provider will assist collaborating physicians in providing assessments, diagnosis, care and treatment of patients in both in-patient and outpatient cardiology practice setting. Complete daily rounds on patients at St Francis Hospital, in all units including ICU and ER. Participate in daily sign out with Attendings and fellow APPs. Appropriate ordering of tests and medications Receiving, interpreting, and communicating internal and external testing results Coordinating admissions and/or transfers to other facilities Consult and coordinate with multidisciplinary team in formulating an appropriate patient plan of care Daily Support to office practice with EPIC in basket for medication refills, test review, patient calls, my chart messaging. Requirements: PA - Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program, minimum Bachelor’s Degree required NP - Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program, current RN license and current AANP or ANCC certification BLS and ACLS certification Cardiology experience preferred Salary Range USD $63.38 - USD $89.34 /Hr.
