Position: Nurse Practitioner, Inpatient Consult LiaisonLocation: Evanston and Skokie HospitalFull Time, 40 hours per weekHours: Monday - Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. with one weekend a monthRequired Travel: Glenbrook and Skokie Hospitals

What you will need:

License: Advanced Practice Licensure (APN) in the State of IL required; Federal DEA and Illinois Controlled Substance License requiredEducation: Completion of Masters level program in specialty area. PMHNP certification highly preferred. Certification: BLS/CPR certification requiredExperience:  Two (2) years of prior mental health experience preferred

What you will do:

Provide comprehensive health assessments, differential diagnosis, and prescribe treatments under the protocol in the direct management of acute and chronic illness and diseasePromote wellness and prevent illness and injury in various settings for individuals, families, and communitiesWork autonomously and in interdisciplinary teams as resources and consultantsPositively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience
