Summary: Provides administrative and clinical support to the Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) for their defined disease site(s) promoting the mission of patient care, education, and research. Performs duties of an Advanced Practice Provider as required.

7. Dermatology
8. Breast Medicine and GU Medicine
9. Thoracic Medicine and GI Medicine
10. Critical Care
11. Hospitalist
12. ATC and DOIM Consultants
13. Supporting Services: Pain, Palliative, Survivorship
14. Community Oncology, STM, Melanoma, and Medical Oncology Floats

This position includes a base salary and geographic differential. Total combined salary range for this position is $138,809 - $166,564 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications:Required Education and Experience

Nurse Practitioner Educational Path:
1. License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York; and
2. Current Nurse Practitioner certification in New York State; and
3. Certification or eligibility for certification as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center or other national certifying body recognized by Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA); and
4. Master’s degree in Nursing.
NOTE:
As a condition of continued employment, incumbents must obtain certification as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center or other national certifying body recognized by Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA) within nine (9) months of their appointment to this title as required by Medicare.

OR

Physician Assistant Educational Path:
1. License to practice as a Physician Assistant in the State of New York; and
2. Certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission for Certification of Physicians Assistants (NCCPA) or other national certifying body recognized by the New York State Education Department; and
3. Bachelor’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies or Bachelor’s degree and completion of a Physician Assistant Certificate Program recognized by the New York State Education Department.

AND
1. The equivalent of three (3) years of full-time progressively responsible Advanced Practice Provider experience in a service line at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center or at a cancer care or acute care facility recognized as comparable by Roswell Park.

NOTE:
1. As a condition of continued employment, incumbents in the Advanced Practice Provider Lead title must obtain and maintain certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within six (6) months of their appointment to this title.
2. Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

The preferred candidate will have 1 year experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in one of the disease sites you are applying to serve as the Lead APP for.
