Loyola University Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (APP)/ Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Lung Transplant team. The APP/PA will play a critical role in providing advanced, patient-centered care in an acute care setting. This role involves independent and collaborative responsibilities in partnership with physicians, case managers, and the broader healthcare team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care. The APP/PA will support patients through every stage of their care journey, ensuring a seamless transition between service units and promoting optimal health outcomes. As part of the Clinical Expertise: you will assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients. Perform selected invasive procedures as necessary, monitor outcomes, and adjust care plans to ensure optimal results

Position Requirements:

Minimum Education:

Required: Masters Degree

Specify Degree(s): Nursing

Minimum Experience:

Required: 3-5 years of previous job-related experience

Preferred: 6-10 years of previous job-related experience

Licensure/Certifications:       

Required: 

CPR – Basic Life SupportACLS -Nursing – Current Registered Nurse License - State of IllinoisNursing – Nursing Practitioner License – State of IllinoisPhysician Assistant License

Other: Specialty certification in a clinical or functional area of nursing granted by a national nursing organization is preferred.
