Responsibilities Peyton Manning Children's Hospital is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) with experience in Pediatric Cardiovascular Surgery and/or management of congenital cardiac patients to join our surgical APP team. Incoming APP will be involved with congenital CV surgical cases as part of a highly-specialized team in the inpatient and outpatient settings. Ascension Medical Group offers a competitive comprehensive salary and benefits package including but not limited to CME reimbursement, front loaded paid time off & retirement benefits. Responsibilities: Participate in the care and medical decision making for preoperative, intra-operative, and postoperative patients at Peyton Manning Children's Hospital at St. Vincent Indianapolis and the Children's Heart Center.Fulfill the role of surgical first assistant for pediatric congenital cardiac cases.Participate in daily multidisciplinary rounds in the cardiac care unit.  Order, perform, and interpret imaging, data, and labs.Perform procedures, such as temporary pacing wire and chest tube removal.Navigate and create records in the patient chart using the Sunrise Clinical Manager and AthenaHealth EMR systems.
