Chestnut Health Systems seeks an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse who is passionate about providing integrated care with a focus on psychiatric medication services and medications for opioid use disorder. This full-time position is based in Hillsboro, Missouri and is eligible for a sign-on bonus.
ResponsibilitiesProvide integrated prescriber services in accordance with Nurse Practitioner Collaborative Agreement State of Illinois and/or Missouri (depending on assignments) and agency policies and procedures. Reinforce evidence-based practices, including the recovery philosophy utilizing the elements of trauma-informed care, hope, respect, empowerment, health/wellness and spirituality/connectedness including harm reduction. Promote positive interactions with the community and within Chestnut to sustain favorable program reputation.
QualificationsRN plus Master’s degree in nursing. Licensure as an APRN in the State of Missouri. Dual Illinois licensure preferred. License in good standing with the ability to bill for evaluating and prescribing medications. Previous psychiatric and Medications for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) prescribing experience preferred. Fully executed Collaborative Agreement with a Chestnut-approved prescriber will be required. Requires moderate computer skills and experience using email, videoconferencing for telehealth and standard meetings, medication registries, and using an electronic medical record (EMR).
