Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct and supportive care to clients, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.Conduct health monitoring and crisis intervention as necessary.Facilitate group education and structured activities for clients.Adhere to program expectations, reporting behaviors to assist with therapeutic interventions.Participate as an active member of the treatment team, helping to identify clients’ strengths, needs, and preferences.Document any exceptional behaviors or areas of concern at shift changes.Assist and educate clients in daily living activities as needed.Monitor and document client activities relevant to their progress or behavior.Ensure all clients are accounted for and safety protocols are followed.Assist in monitoring clients' general health conditions.Provide client transportation as needed.Maintain agency behavior standards and complete all mandatory training timely.Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and treatment team meetings as required.Perform other duties as assigned by the Residential Coordinator or management.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of confidentiality laws related to substance use and mental health treatment.Strong ability to establish rapport with the client population.Capable of clear and effective verbal and written communication for reporting.Ability to demonstrate compassion and understanding towards clients.

Experience and Education Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent required.Two years of responsible employment history preferred.

Employment Requirements:

Successful completion of background checks including criminal, driving, and abuse/neglect checks.Completion of New Hire Orientation at the beginning of employment.Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and current auto insurance.First Aid and CPR certifications within 30 days of employment, with annual renewals.Completion of behavioral management training within the first 30 days of employment.
