Honeywell’s ACST team is seeking an Advanced Electrical (RF) Engineer with experience in the analysis, design, and measurement of electromagnetic systems in the RF and millimeter wave bands. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of wave propagation and measurement of electromagnetic fields in electrically small to electrically large, complex cavities.

The annual base salary or/ hourly pay range for this position is $113.000.00 - $141,000.00 Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead RF modeling efforts of cryogenic systems using commercial full wave solvers and statistical methods.
Develop RF measurement techniques for cryogenic systems
Work with subject matter experts from cross-functional teams to develop cryogenic shielding solutions

U.S. citizenship is required due to contractual requirements. Applicants must also be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance. Continued employment is contingent upon successful completion of security processing

 YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in electrical engineering, other technical disciplines with relevant experience will be considered
4+ years of experience in electromagnetic analysis and measurementWE VALUE
Master’s degree or higher in electrical engineering
Any relevant experience in Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and\nElectromagnetic Interference (EMI) testing using IEEE Standard 299, MIL-STD 461\nand 464
Experience with modeling and measurement using reverberation chambers
Familiarity with common RF measurement equipment such as VNA, Spectrum\nAnalyzer, signal generator etc.
Microwave component selection and test
Knowledge of RF absorbing materials at cryogenic temperatures
Knowledge of software for electromagnetic simulation tools, e.g., Ansys HFSS,\nCST Studio Suite, FEKO, COMSOL, etc.
Knowledge of Python and/or MATLAB for data analysis and instrument control.
Self-motivated with appetite to take on new tasks and learn new skillsets
Deep understanding of electromagnetic theory\nand real-world design & specification of magnetic components.
Experience with optimization methods as applied to the\ndesign of electromagnetic fields.
Knowledge of electromagnetic simulation tools such as\nAnsys and COMSOL, instrument control and data analysis in Python or Matlab.
Familiarity with magnetometry, robotics, and cryogenic\nsystems.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and\ncollaborate/interact with other engineering and scientific staff for\nassignment, and guidance.
Experience writing technical proposals and reports.
Capacity to embrace a culture of teamwork and mentorship\nto overcome challenging design tasks while maintaining awareness of individual\nstrengths and weaknesses.ABOUT HONEYWELL
