Advanced Security Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Establishes security and protection strategies, priorities, and critical tasks at assigned sites and along distribution channels including procedures, training, equipment, visitor and access controls, security communications and information sharing.
2. Manages facility security programs and security personnel in accordance with company and facility protocols.
3. Ensures compliance with applicable security regulations.
4. Participates in Security Risk/Vulnerability Assessments and implements security measures to mitigate vulnerabilities.
5. Implements company Anti-Violence Workplace prevention policies.
6. Supports corporate Business Conduct office by performing quality investigations.
7. Interacts with law enforcement, Homeland Security, and other government agency officials.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 10 or more years of law enforcement, military, or security related field
• Exhibits advanced skills in developing, implementing, and managing processes and programs involving law enforcement and other security support programs
• Demonstrates expert skills in gathering and assessing information related to potential security threats and developing appropriate preventive strategies within their area of assignment
• Displays expert skills in coordinating efforts with internal and external resources to ensure restoration of critical systems and the proper support to all parties in the event of a security related event
• Recognized as an expert in the security regulatory compliance programs within their area of assignment
• Demonstrates the ability to lead investigative teams, conduct complex Code of Conduct investigations, and prepare for legal proceedings which the company may be party
• Exhibits advanced skills is the development and preservation of evidence
