Advanced Software Engineer (.NET Developer) for Honeywell International, Inc. (Atlanta, GA)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Research and develop novel software solutions to be used to build new features and improvements in the Forge product portfolio.
Produce code that will operate in a secure, well-tested, and performant way using coding that meets our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a cloud based micro-services environment.
Work in a highly collaborative team environment and be required to actively participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle, including sizing, design, coding, testing, peer review and planning activities.
Work with product, engineering and operations teams to understand the requirements and constraints that will shape the design of your solutions.
Develop strategies for scaling your solutions beyond the proof of concept phase.
Regularly demonstrate progress to stake holders.
Technical guidance, mentoring and knowledge sharing in the team.

Qualified\napplicants must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer\nScience, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and\n5 years of experience in developing enterprise applications in .Net. Must have\n5 years of experience with the following: experience as a Software Engineer\nusing an Agile software lifecycle including TDD, pair programming, short\nrelease cycles; expert knowledge of OO, DDD, gang of four design patters,\nenterprise design patterns; experience working on a distributed cloud-based\nmicro-service architecture; and experience designing and developing RESTful\nAPI’s. Telecommuting permitted up to two (2) times per week.
